Default swapped my h23 trani for an h22 trani have a few ?s........

i swapped out my h23 trani for an h22 into my eg hatch(has an h22a) well i have a few ?s are the vss the same ? seems that the h22 one is longer ( i used the h23 one and now my vss isnt working) also are the slave cylnders the same? i used the one that was in the car but i had to drive the holes out a bit to make it fit... over all the swap went ok just the trani makes a noise when the clutch isnt put in and the vss isnt working.. anyone know? also how many quarts of fluid do these tranis take i put three in

2 quarts if it was empty!

I am pretty sure - almost positive the VSS are different

no idea about the slave cylinders

what kind of noise?

Are you confident you did everything right?
