what kinda power would a built jdm type-r put out??
Hey guys im thinking of buying a jdm type-r for my eg. i have a b16a and its not doin it anymore. i work at a honda dealeship and the motor was sent out by honda to get built. the owner of the motor and the mangers all said its been built and its guna put out good power there saying anywhere in the low to mid 200hp range but maybe more ... the motor hasnt been tested and i dont know exactly whats been done to it . let me know what u think

built? what exactly do you mean by built? that term can mean a lot of different things. depending on how much goes into the build, it could be anywhere from 170-230. be more specific.
it seems like that is what a stock itr motor puts down to your dyno jet, if im not mistaken.
