Default integra seats in an accord...help me please

im picking up a pair of integra front cloth seats this friday. now since i know diddly squat about seats im thinking there are metal brackets on the accords that attach to the bottom of the seats. then it slides on the rails bolted on to the frame of the car. is it as simple as putting the accord brackets on the integra seat.

ive heard people having problems on this so what i was gonna go was take it to a weldering place and weld the accord brackets onto the integra seats

1) do i have the parts names right? (bracket/rails)

2) any more suggestions?

3) hungry?

4) are my questions pissing you off

thanks guys

so why are you gonna use integra seats and not prelude seats? The older prelude seats had wonderful side support

the integra seats might not be wide enough for the accord brackets. Plus welding will prove to be a challenge. A friend of mine tried that, and the seat did not slide properly. BTW, why teg seats? and which ones?

I thought the lude seats don't have the headrest piece??? how are u gonna get the headrest piece off the integra (looks like the integra one) onto the lude? The lude has nice support... I need to get a set of seats when i have some money...

i have the 98 lude seats in the front of my 4th gen, and the 92''s in the rear. i wish i had sat in them to feel the seats before i put them in, but i had the fronts in before i get the 92's. hte older lude seats wrap around your sides way more than the new ones do.

92's in the rear? do you mean 92 prelude rear seats in your 4th gen accord? I'd like to know how to swap the rear seats if the lude backseats are nicer. My accord ones are pretty worn already, they squeak. =|
