Which Integra Seats for EG6?
I searched around a bit, but couldnt find exactly what i was looking for.
What would i need to install integra seats in the front of my EG6? would i use my own rails or will the integra rails fit fine?
How about the rear seats? I hear some people have to use different backs and bottoms. ideas?
I havent upgraded my car in YEARS! so i'm out of the loop. All that knowledege seemed to go bye bye

Yeah you'll need to swap rails with some civic seats I believe.
We did the exact opposite swap for my buddies Integra.
Good luck bro.

If you are installing the front seats the rails are interchangeable

I didn't change the rails when I put integra seats in mine. Just threw them in and it seems to be alright.

integra seats bolt up fine
back seats will leave a gap on each side.
about an inch.
the bolt on the back of the lower seat part wont
line up either. just use the seat belts to hold the rear
cushion in place. also remove the center seat belt.
because of the center plastic part.
i hoope this helps. peace

Re: Which Integra Seats for EG6? (S-Type1)
I managed to fit everything without a hitch. didnt need to swap rails, and i dont even have that 2inch gap that everybody complains about. But i just have 2 more questions:
-Can i use the carpet backing from my stock seats and attach it to the integra seats? if so, how exactly do i do it? i'm afraid of breaking the plastic things that keep it attachhed.
-there was a cable attached beneath the passenger side integra seat. I had to disconnect it in order for the rail adjustment to work. What the heck is it?

Re: (EG1racer)
If you have a EG6, which I presume is right-hand drive, and you put in USDM Integra seats, then your "passenger" seat will have a connector for the SRS harness coming from the seatbelt holster (underneath the seat) -- this should be the driver's side, of course, in a LHD car. I don't think Civics have an SRS light for the passenger seat, only for the driver. If you're calling your Civic an EG6 when you mean that it's a US/CN LHD car, and you have USDM Integra seats, then I don't think there should be an SRS harness from the passenger side; alternatively, you could have JDM seats (lol) and the harness is on the opposite side (which is how it is in my car, after I figured out that my seats were for a RHD car to my chagrin). Hope that makes sense.
Hmm if the holes for the plastic bolts/screws are in the same arrangement on the Integra seats (we're talking about rears here, right?) as they are on the Civic ones, then I'm sure you can make the carpet backing fit. If you're indeed talking about the carpet that attaches to the back of the rear seats and spreads out into the trunk, then those plastic screw-things are pretty durable -- none have ever broken on me, even when yanked out with pliers.

Re: Which Integra Seats for EG6? (S-Type1)
i got the rear seat carpeting attached without a problem. But i think you misunderstood the extra cable i mentioned.
The driver side seat has 2 things between the rails: the electronic attachment for the seatbelt sensor and the coat-hanger-style bar that keeps both rails in sync.
The passenger side has the coat-hanger-style attachment as well as a metal cable that doesnt seem to do anything. The metal cable is sorta like a throttle cable or a hood release cable. I had to disconnect it in order to adjust the seat rails. But i'm not sure what its there for. Ideas?

Ahh my apologies, I kinda latched on to what the guy above me said
Hmmm yeah I know what you're talking about, I'll check my car tomorrow and see if I have the same thing... I didn't have to disconnect any thing like you've described when I put my Integra seats in, so I'm curious now, too....
