(first off i did a search and couldnt find an answer to my specific question) i have a Jdm Gsr engine with a Jdm Lsd transmission and need to know if the amsoil MTF is safe for trannys equiped with lsd's or not? the reason i ask is i heard there has to be some special additive in the tranny fluid for the lsd. so if anyone is using or has used this in their lsd tranny let me know.

Im using the amsoil syncromesh in my b16.

 

is your tranny LSD or not?

 

Yea I believe so, its stock b16a2 tranny. Both my wheels spin.

 

if its a stock b162 tranny it doesnt have LSD unless you have a JDM b16 w/ the lsd optional tranny

 

i just use redline 10w-30 in my tranny. GSR S80. works fine
