Default wire tuck question

I am in the process of making a tuck harness

my question is how do you get the main connectors that come out from the firewall that the engine harness plugs into back behind the firewall? or where they can be hidden to be out of sight?

thanks in advance

If I am understanding your question correctly there are a few ways:

1. Most of the time they are put in a strategic location in the bay to hide them, This way there is hardly any extension of wires needed.
2. then there are the cases where someone will remove the pins from the connector, pull the wires thhrough and put the pins back in. Usually you have to extend more wires this way.
3. Then there are the cases where a COMPLETE custom harness is used and then you can pick where you want the bulky connectors in line...

Hope this helps

I noticed that where wire from the connectors lead into the fire wall that there is a large rubber plug

so can I pull the plug out and will the connectors fit through that part of the firewall?
