Default Boost Problems

Hey guy i am having a lil bit of a problem on my car and i think it may now be the s300 im using.Right now my car is set at 8lbs of boost on low stage and on high stage its at 12lbs.The problem im having is that whenever i am sometimes boosting like in low boost the check light flashes and then goes off right away.Well i retrieved a code for the vehicle speed sensor and repaired it.The problem was gone for about a day, then afterwards keep on coming back on the next day.It also does it often on high boost.I checked such thing like the map,the tps and the vtec solenoid and cannot retrieved any code from the computer because like i said it flashes and comes right off and does not store a code. The boost cut is set at 18lbs so that eliminated that possiblity,i even checked the boost guage to make sure it was working correct and giving me the right reading.Well this is the problem im having and i will like anyones educated ideas and shine light on waht the problem may be or anyone who has ever experienced this problem with the s300 before, any help will be greatly appreciated.

what map sensor are you running? do you have the check engine light set as a shift light at to low of an rpm and just dont know it? If your tuned to 12 psi then why on gods green earth is yoru boost cut set to 18 psi. it should be 13-14 psi.

who prepared the ecu with the s300 components?

I'm going with the CEL as shift light as well, also if u r running the stock map it is only good for 11.5 psi.

you can tune up to whatever you want to with a stock manp sensor, that doesnt nessesarily mean it will read it. and yes some programs will allow different readings but the reality of it is the stock map only goes so high withvoltage and reads so much positive pressure. ive tuned to 12 psi on stock map but it just reads of highest cell in the tune offered for stock map.

Ok, so like I said with the correct map calibration setitngs the stock map is able to correctly read 11.5 psi max absolute pressure.
