This is a Hard one. HONDA TECHS please read. wiring/ecu/dizzy signal/ h22a4 EJ
This is a tough one. let me start with this. H22A4 obd2 on a civic ex harness. into EJ.
dropped the motor in...
all went well. tried to fire, no go. so i started in with the Fluke, found that there was no spark, then found that there was no signal coming out of the dizzy to make spark. im almost 100% that the CYP TDC CPS CKP, and other dizzy wires. all have power where the should key on or key off.
so when im cranking over the car, no signal is coming out of the grn (primary out put control).
So i try putting in a p28 with my old D series map on it, and bang now i have spark. WTF. im sure this p5m ecu is good, i watched it drive a prelude just the other day.
so my only guess is that a wire is wrong, but look and they are all right, i don't know whats up. anyone have any ideas, i really don't want to run a p28. my chip burner is busted and i can get a good map on a chip.
PLEASE PLEASE i know there are some smart *** HT members. any input thanks.
