ive seen a few people on here with a turbo b16 steup using gsr cam shafts ,how does that help the setup.also if using the gsr camshafts what cam gears do they use,do they use the gsr cam gears or b16,is there a difference in a b16/b18 cam gears.what would do better?thanks

 

Same cam gears.GSR cams make more power and hold it higher up especially vs the crappy 1st gen B16 cams I was rocking.There is some dyno comp. sheets around if you search.

 

they are worth it for SURE man...

went from a stock b16 cams and gears to adj gears and gsr cams on a stock b16 boosted. went from around 240hp at 10psi to 290+ at 9.5 psi. cams and gears were the only things changed. deff. worth it in my opinion. EGT's went way down too in cruising and long pulls.

Im going with GSR's also, but I wish I saves a tiny bit more for ITR or CTR cams

def go with some gsr's...but if you have the extra money...get itr/ctr's!!!

 

I have a pretty mint set of gsr cams left over from when I swaped to ITR. If anyone is intrested in them shoot me a PM. There just taking up space in my garage, someone make me an offer.

go ahead and throw the gsr's back in your engine and sell me the itr's...lol!

 

so is there a difference for the better from 2nd gen b16a to gsr, or only 1st gen b16a to gsr. and im assuming ctr is greater than all?
