2006 Civic Hybrid Cruise Jerks

I have a new 06 Civic Hybrid. The cruise control jerks when tap break on upward hill. Dealer is telling me to ask Honda. Anyone out there with this problem?

Did I read something about braking and cruise control?

Hitting the brakes turns off CC!
