civic spun out of control
im drivin down the road at like 40 mph in my civic coupe and all of a sudden a car tries to come out of a parkin spot so i swerve to the left out of the way when i go back to the right my car spins out of control and all i did was pull the ebrake to prevent me from slammin into parked cars luckily i came to a stop without any damage. will sway bars have helped me gain control?

I wonder what the speed limit was on this "road" with parking spots along it.

That's because you overcorrected. That happens a lot when you drive agressively and have no idea how to control your FWD car.

...need I comment on pulling the E-brake in an accident situation?

Luckilly you didn't cause a huge accident. A front swaybar, assuming you drive the way I'm picturing, might have caused you to slide into the car you avoided, while a rear swaybar would have caused you to spin sooner, thus losing control more quickly.
Good tires, good brakes and a little driver training (and less speed) will keep this from happening again.

Re: civic spun out of control (O.G triple O.G)
E-Brake+ turning + more than about 2 mph is going to = spinning most of the time. Honestly, an E-Brake was about the worst thing you could have picked to do in that situation.

Ahh he probably pulled the E-Brake just out of fear of crashing. Happens alot
acutally and least to say I've done it before.

anytime u pull the ebrake u either slide or go sideways
ebrake is worst
only time u should use it is if your breaks wont work or your driftin! but if u turned the wheel and pulled it thats what usually happens.

ive spun out before, and i never thought about pulling the ebrake up...i wouldnt even do it, wouldnt that even make you spin more?
i dont know of what i did was correct..heres what i did:
when it was around 40, and started to spin out
it was to late to correct it, so i tried to "control"
the spin i countersterred, very gentle on the
brakes then when it was about 30-25 i gradually
depressed the brake until the spin ended.
