Default failed VA inspection for stupid reasons. (yes there is a question)

So I just moved to VA a little while ago from NC.

Took my car to get inspected (never had any problems in NC) and it failed. Not for me having a non-SRS JDM steering wheel, or ripped CV boots. No, they failed me because...

1) My lowbeams are "blue" and my highbeams are yellow.
2) My NC state sticker on the front windshield.
3) No 3rd brakelight. The previous owner had removed the OEM spoiler so I have no 3rd brake light now.

so my question is, is there a 3rd break light from another car that mounts behind the rear window that I can mount so I can pass my inspection?

and if anyone has one I'm willing to buy it. I have 15 days to fix the problems and reinspect.

Don't all Type R's have the center high-mount brake light in the hatch?

I believe all integras do, it is definitely not in the spoiler.

You need assembly #14 from this parts list, courtesy of Baranco Acura

I know the Acura optional "Type R style" spoiler had a brake light in it. I don't remember where the GS-R high-mount was though.

My brother's GS-R had it in the spoiler and the rear window. My gf's LS that didn't have a spoiler had it just in the rear window. Either way all the OP has to do is get one from an integra.

GSRs are the only ones with the 3rd light on the spoiler and not in the hatch window. Every other Integra had it on the hatch window.

the "blue" headlights came with the car, just haven't changed them. and the yellow is because your eye sees yellow colors better then any other. So it is easier to see at night.

Yup, looked their already. Looking on ebay now to see if they have some, but I'm worried it's not the whole assembly.

P.S. sorry, should have stated. This is for my GSR.

I never heard that about the yellow headlights. I don't really have a problem seeing at night though because I have jdm itr hids. I don't understand how people can use the blue headlights though, you can't see **** at night with them.

Why don't you find someone who is parting out a ITR or LS/GS/RS?

You could drive north on 95 to banks auto(junkyard) there is a red ls there with the light still in it. That is really the only thing left in it the last time I was there...

not to be rude, but is there a reason you posted this in the ITR forum?

Just go on ebay or salvage yard. Any RS/GS/LS/4dr GSR will work. They should have the 3rd brake light for about 20 bucks. As for the wiring goes, just detach the trunk lid panel, re-route it into the trunk lid lining into the car, and do some easy wiring.

GSR's don't have the 3rd mount brake light because it's on the wing. If you got an LS with factory installed wing, you wouldn't have the 3rd brake light I'm pretty sure.

I don't think the 4dr's will work, the rear glass is different.

Yep. Welcome to the Commonwealth, where we actually have a state law that says you are not supposed to have more than four lights providing forward illumination at any given time, and where they are supposed to be providing visibly white light.
