Wierd starting idle-starting LOW then high on B16

Wierd starting idle-starting LOW then high on B16
OK, I've gotten used to this CODE 14 enough to live with. I noticed that after a long hot run and shut down. When I go to start it up again, instead of jumping to maybe 2k down to 1500 then to 1000, it starts the other way. from 0 to like 250 then to 500 then to 1000. Any light anyone?

ok, well i just did a b16 swap into my rex, code 14 can be this. if you have the hasport conversion harness, you might have the ivac plug and the knock sensor switched, the knock sensor is gonig to be blue with a red stripe. make sure you have those on the right plugs. that could be the problem. as for the idle, you might have the cold start diaphram messed up. you can adjust it. its really hard to explain on the net. so i hope that code 14 thing works. the knock sensor is located underneath the intake mani. check those out
