Default Spoon Camshafts

I've searched but had no success on the subject. Does anybody have any input on the Spoon cams? A friend of mine has the opportunity to purchase some for a good price but there is nothing i can find here about them.

The Spoon cams are hardly an upgrade from a type r profile. I would buy a set of S2S1's or a BC3+'s before I bought those friggin things....
