Default Detailers check in! need help with full detailing of my car thanks!

ok i want to do a full detail for my car. i have a red 1990 acura integra. well i found out what i want to do and what product kit i'm going to try...but i wanted to know something. i'm going to start off by washing the car and using a clay kit. then after claying the car...i'll be using the Mothers ULTIMATE WAX SYSTEM kit...but i wanted to use the Meguiars SCRATCH X in as well. my question is when do i use it? right after i clay the car and before i use the mothers 3 step wax system? basically in the kit it includes the pre-wax cleaner(STEP 1)----the sealer and glaze(STEP 2)----and the carnauba wax(STEP 3)...

when should i use the meguairs STRATCH X in this process? thanks all!

i'm thinking you use the STEP 1 pre-wax\paint cleaner then phase in the meguiars scratch X...then do STEP 2 and then 3?

Meguiars scratch X is used to polish out visable scratches it is not for useing on the hole car!

Once you have washed and dried the car look over the body work for scratches and use the scratch X to polish these out, check around your locks where key rings/keys will have scratched the paint, there the kind of thing Meguiars scratch X is designed to remove. Its basicly a polishing compound.

i just bought the scratch X and it says it good for light swirl marks and scratches. I noticed I have swirl marks all over my hood...so do you think i could use it on the whole hood?
