Default Body roll ?

I recently went to a 17 inch wheel from the stock SH wheels. The tires on the rear wheels were almost gone and the fronts were decent. The new wheels have all new tires. The same exact tires that I had on the old wheels just lower profile, Falken ZE512. Anyway now the car doesnt handle as well in corners and the back end feels like it wants to come out. Im postive this isnt just in my head because corners I have taken in the past going quickly I have had problems with since the new wheels are tires. Tire pressure is perfect and lugs are all tight. Just got an alignment about 2 weeks ago. Any ideas on what it could be ?

Lower contact area combined with higher unsprung weight.

Just a guess.

How wide of the tires?

SH's are 16x6.5 did you get a 17xwhat?

Id say check your suspension and get a rear sway bar, but thats just me

probably right. The higher unsprung weight + extra rotating mass is going to make the car handle differently (usually worse). Plus all that extra sidewall flex you used to have in the smaller 16-inchers is gone so your car is going to want to slide a little more now.

Plus, your offset on the new wheels might not be correct. If the problem persists, you could always consider a pair of wheel spacers for the back only. That'll widen the track in the rear and make the car less prone to oversteer.

The old tires that were on the SH wheels were Falken Ze512 205/16. The new wheels are 17X7 5-114.3 and the tires are 215/40ZR17 Falken ZE512s all new.
