Default 4bidden Short Shifter Review

hey all, I just wanted to give my review on the 4bidden shoft shifter i recently installed

well after all this time i finally got around to installing the short shifter i bought from "4bidden" here on honda-tech. I installed this in my H22 DC2 integra.

With the stock shifter it used to be some what hard to get into 5 and rev because it would rub just a tad on the console. With the 4bidden shifter my problems went away (dosn't rub anymore).

I could tell the difference rigth away on how short the shifts are (middle setting, 3 to choose from). This thing is great and really feels nice and smooth when shifting. I find it much easyer in rush hour traffic and when ripping through the gears. overall im very pleased, but i must admit it takes some time to get used to from the stock shifter. Im sure in a couple days it will be even better once i get used to it.

The install was also a breeze, very easy and went on just like stock. The quality of the shifter is next to none. What more can i say

I love mine to in my lude. I have mine on the top hole though. Its a bit harder to throw but alot shorter. My brother has a protege and his shift throw from 1st to neutral is the same as my throw from first to second. hehe

I think it would be nice if forbidden made more cooling plates for the 4th gen.

As for the short shifter, I have one and love it.

i got the shifter and the coolin plate for my 4th gen, the plate looks badass but i dunno how much it helped, but the shifter was like night and day, much quicker shifts, and feels like its new, the shifts are solid not like flimsy and loose good product. had mine maybe a year now on shortest setting, very fun to drive

Wow....I was having a bad day, little better now though! :D

I am currently out of pretty much EVERYTHING. BUT....if you guys want to setup a group buy, by the time its over I should have everything back in stock except polished plates.

Actually I lie...I just got black plates back in stock today. I've got some work to do but I'll drop by this thread later this evening to see if there is any more interest.

Its part of the reason I'd like to do a huge 4gen groupbuy so then I can focus more on getting that thing through prototyping. I'm very excited for it...its going to be a.m.a.z.i.n.g
