Default Speedometer problem

I have just replaced a clutch on my 1994 prelude; when I had reconnected everything and restarted the car the speedometer would start at 38 MPH inspead of 0 MPH. the tach works like a swiss watch so does the odometer. I have no clue about what might be the problem.

The second problem, that is independent of speedometer or clutch replacement is the 4WS. Yesterday it worked a day before and today it doesn't. I don't even know where to start on this problem. Can anybody help?

Well obviously something is goofy related to your V.S.S. or vehicle speed sensor. Id say pull it back out, make sure everything is all aligned right, and put it back in. and the V.S.S. is tied into the speed sensitive steering, so it would also affect the 4ws. oh and a shameless plug since your from denver, check out coprelude.com
