What you're trying to say, is that you want to do a mpfi swap on your dx motor by putting the d16y8 mani and you have the si dizzy but you wanna know etheir you can use si dizzy or get the zc dizzy one?

Ill come back for a second attempt.

The title of the thread menions mini me swap, so if thats the head swap you are doing and you want to do it the right way then you should use a d16z6 or d16y8 dizzy (depending on the head) and p28 ecu along with a 0bd0 - obd1 conversion harness

what iam trying to say is that i just did an mpfi swap on my 90 dx, i had to change out the dizzy to an si dizzy, the cpu to a pm6, i also have a pr4 but not using. the intake manifold i istalled is a d16y8. now i have a p08-4 head from a 92-95 civic vtec. is that a 1.6L, looking to install head but is a vtec, can i just not use the vtec part/ what about the dizzy i have, do i need to change it and cpu to a p28. this is costing me alot more that inticipated. is it even worth converting?thanks for all your help.

you need to use the 92-95 dizzy and p28 if you want vtec. You will need a jumper at the ecu for obd0-obd1.If you are not worried about vtec you can use the Si dizzy and the PM6.
