are all motor mounts tightend down properly?

Did you use a bitch pin when re-assembling the linkage or did you use a bolt?

Did you check the shifter bushings?

Dis you make sure the shift linkage stabilizer bar is tightened down?

1. bitch pin
2. havent checked bushings, but moneys tight right now and was hoping there was a way to fix it without getting new bushings...if thats it i can replace it but if it can be avoided and still work properly, thats what i want.
3. everything is tight

I had the same problem. It was a bolt in place of the pin. Put a pin in it, works perfect.

I'd recommend replacing the bushings, if money's tight, they're pretty damn cheap, I got mine for $10.

I got 4 ef's and never had that problem with the bushings. Get some one to move the shifter while your under the car and you should see where the problem is.
