Getting rid of rust?
I recently started sanding down my EJ1. Upon getting to rear wheelwell on the driver side. It had the plastic/rubber strips on the wheel well, some sort of trim. Well, the driver side has a small amount of rust on the inside of the wheel well, as the quarter panel bends.

It's right above the wheel. The rust hasn't spread to where you can see it from standing next to the car, but I can imagine it doing it soon. How do I get rid of this? Can I get rid of this. It's so small, I don't think I would need to replace the quarter panel.

The infamous honda rust spot. You can try to sand/grind it out and then bondo it up but chances are it will come back. Happened to me a few times, although I live in a horrid climate for rust. You can also try to cut out the affect metal and weld in a new piece, of course you have to be skilled to do this. You could also get a quote from a shop.
In the future consider getting your car oil sprayed if you live in a nasty climate.
Cheers!

if it is only slightly rusted, sand down and remove all of the rust if possible then seal it with some self-etching primer, seal it and then paint it. would also suggest undercaoting all interior edges and fenders.
