ok so i put my new clutch and my ys1 tranny in today. had a helms manual and went step by step. got it all in and torqued to spec, i went and turned the crank w/ a ratchet and the trannys not spinning, i made sure it was in gear, i even took it out and put it in neutral and reverse, still nothing. clutch cable is hooked up too. is it even supposed to spin? it did the 1st turn i did then nothing. ahh i dont know im confused.

 

if its cable clutch is it properly adjusted? If its a hydro clutch, is it properly bled?

I've never turned the crank after a tranny install or clutch job. I just install the tranny, and when the clutch cable is adjusted, drive it.

 

nm, im an idiot, i figured it out. that was probably the stupidest question ive ever asked. haha.
