b16a1 or a2?

You can run a P30 ECU but that's OBD 1 so you would need a OBD2-to-OBD1 conversion harness.

The P2T ecu is for the 99+ Honda civic Si so it should work fine also.

JDM's were all a1. The USDM B16's were all a2's. But you were right about the ecu's.

Your wrong. All JDM B16's were just B16a. No 1 or 2. Only exception was the B16b.

USDM B16's had the B16a2 (96-97 Del Sol Vtec and 99-00 Civic Si obd2) and the B16a3 (the 94-95 Del Sol vtec obd1).

Sorry, that's what I meant. I knew that all the USDM's were a2's, but I mis-spoke about the JDM ones. Thanks for clarifying!

Not all USDM B16's were A2. 93-97 Del Sol VTECs were B16A3.

Wow this thread is everywhere. lol

Your best bet would be to convert to OBD1 with a jumper, and use the p30.
