Should i reuse these End Links? if not, where to get new?
I just recieved in a gsr 24mm sway bar and arms... can/should i reuse these endlinks? and just get new bushings for where it mounts to the arm? One of them has a tear in the boot
i was pricing online and for new the cheapest is around 48 bucks each! Where can i find the L-shaped end links for cheaper?
top one has the tear:
thanks

yup front sway end links...
those are the only ones i found on function7's website.
im gonna head to napa or pep boys to see what kind of oem replacements they got, i dont' feel like spending $100+ on endlinks.

eh, i'd just rather get new ones since i have them out... also i don't know how long it had a tear in the boot. if i reuse them i'd prolly have to change them out in the future. plus those bushings are beat...rock hard.
thanks

suit yourself.
i dont see a problem with the donut bushings being hard. the harder the more responsive the swaybar will be.

i see what your saying about the rock bushings and being responsive... but isnt' there a point to have some flex or rebound back in the bushing?
why do people upgrade to urethane then if the beat/rock hard rubber will be more responsive?

beats the hell out of me.
im not a fan of poly anything.
why do you think honda upgrades the linkage to balljoints. there should be no slop with a balljoint. direct connection.
so whatever. do whatever you want.

Like Tyson said, ball joint should be no slop and as good as spherical bearing. All monoball suspension should have no play.
I would reuse the link and just change the boot and repack it with grease.
I also agree with Tyson that Poly has no place in a race car.
