So, you did one HPDE and weren't fast, so you built your motor? Or did you just do this for fun? Because the stock R is plenty fast for a noob HPDEr. Whatever the case, good luck with it all, should be fun one way or the other

 

i did 2 events.. and i know the motor is nice stock... this is my toy though.. why not build it... and its not bc of the miles.. i only have 49k on the car..

Well, if you're interested in improving yourself as a driver, more power with inexperience is not the way to do it. You can learn a lot from a slower car about keeping up momentum. Then you can also spend your money on track events rather than parts.

 

wanting more power wasnt just for the track, i more wanted somethin just quicker in general, plus i duno bout you but i always have to be doin somethin with my cars, and to be honest this is the slowest car that ive owned.. Definatly the nicest by far.... but not the quickest.

Well as of yesterday, we did the initial startup, everything went great! sounds like a different car though thats for sure. sounds alot meaner. it gotta be those cams and comp.. Also put the cage back in, put the hids in, and ran over to whipfactory to see dave and get program burned for the breakin period before im tuned.

*Still looking for a header btw.. Preferably an Rmf narrow im thinking, but not stuck on that yet.. So if you or anyone you know might have one let me know please. thanks *

ive known Jon for a while. hes a good kid, just a little miss guided.. and thats not by my doing. Stinkycheezmonky does have a point. you need to learn to drive the car for what it has and build from there and i think ive told you. engine isn't going to make a good driver.. prime example.. i do believe im faster and i have alot less engine! listen to what i tell you son!

you drive your car wayy more than ive driven mine, and youve had more time on the track as well.. my car pretty much sits all the time.. once i get as much practice as you, im not worried bout passin u up buddy
