Is there a difference between a h22 from japan and a h22 here in the US because we still cant figure out what is wrong with mine it wont start in the morning but then once you get it going it runs fine all day. We took it to Honda so they could try to figure it out they said it could be a japanese engine so it would need a japanese ECU but what is the difference does anybody no.
Yes there is a difference, look at your engine block and see what the engine code is... H22a = jdm h22a1 = usdm 4th gen. thats how you will know your engine is a USDM motor. Are you throwing any Check engine lights?
there is a difference in the motors, but your 4ws should not cause that problem. does it turn over in the morning, you mught just have a loose connectuion or something
