Default quiet muffler?

i got a 4-2-1 header,
a cat
and the same brand catback

will i pass emissions?
i left the silencer on, think ill pass for the muffler?
i think most others i hear are a lot louder but its still too loud for me
sound is almost more important that performance
if i change, what's a nice quiet "performance" muffler?
i heard magnaflow is good.

thanks for any replies

Magnaflow belongs on Camaros IMO.

For a nice sound how much are you looking to spend?

As long as you have the stock sensors and a legal cat you will be fine

what inspection are you trying to pass first of all. if it is smog well it doesnt matter about the sound.

what kind of header do u have? It has to be carbed in order to pass visual. Do you have a high flow cat on or a test pipe?

Then you have never hears a Magnaflow oval style muffler on a honda then. Best sounding exhaust I have ever heard on a honda. Oh and they are relatively cheap too.

are they quiet-ish?
researched the carb thing..
they crack down on that in NJ?

CARB = california air resource board = comittee in charge of smog related issues for the dmv.

go to a tast and free retest if u fail u can go back for free..... i did this and failed emitions.... then the guy told me that all i had to do was install an extra cat any where in the exhaust line and my emissions will go to almost zero(by the way i failed with like 700 to 800 and the most was like 200)....... well i went paid 70 bucks for a magna flow cat they took of the resignator and replaced it with the cat....... and right after i had it installed i took it for the retest and passed with like 50 to 70 and i still had a aftermarket exhaust hooked up.... try it out in your budget

i had an aftermarket muffler but you need the bay to be stock i think or atleast something that is carbed approved like the intake in order to pass smog

carb = california air rescue ***** or something.
i have doubt that Nj follows that but it's possible
thinking about painting header black
inspection is due dec. they kicked me out cause i went to early

if i need a 2nd cat i got no problem with that
i need to get rid of this god awful muffler
the silencer makes it buzz only during moderate acceleration
w/o it i go deaf
