HIDplanet.com if it is working is one of the best HID sites around.

I used it for much of my retro TYC headlights with EURO Golf IV HID's.

patience, go slow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plan everything out first, don't just start cutting, drilling and **** and figure it out along the way.

I would suggest getting project housings like tyc or something, it makes it easier, but you can use your stock housings.

Let me know if you have any questions.

well i've classed some projectors out for you in order of uberness:
S2k projectors: 300-400$/set
TSX projectors: 175-250$/set
audi A6 projectors 80-120$/set

i personally have the TSX projectors because they have a verry verry nice output and verry sharp cutoff, i got a crazy deal on them by spotting ebay auctions close to end. (paid roughly 120 CDN$ for the set)

now, you're going to need the bulbs/ballasts/ignitors. i baught mine from TurbothisLS (i think) on this forum for a CLEAN 100$ less then what ebay would have cost me, plus the bulbs where included i got my stuff from a 2001 TL, only problem is that the bulbs are D2R so i have to notch them to fit in the D2S projectors, its a 2 minute affair.

now for the headlights: i have a 5g civic so i needed something without a flutted lense., why not go with something that already has a prjector and just gut it? so i went with the denji style headlights (no pics, i have yet to recieve it)

when i get the denji's i will start a full progress thread on my retro that you might want to follow, since it will be my first aswell, so i'll be making mistakes that you will likely make aswell GL!

Wow, thanks for the post dude. You've been alot of help already. My only problem is I don't want "ebay" headlights beacuse most of them have 2 spots for bulbs. A projector for your lows, and a regular spot for another bulb. I need something for just the hids, i wont be using a high beam. What you think?

you can just use your stock headlights and made a shroud, since you dont have a flutted lense.

If you want a step-by-step guide on how to do what you're attempting, go to the motherfucking site we keep posting and make it happen. If you'd rather sit here and force me to make you my bitch, by all means keep posting

It seems by posts in the past the only reason you are even on this board is to verbally abuse everyone beacuse there not as AWESOME as you! Every post you have ever posted on my thread has been negative. Get a ******* life. You don't have to be such a douche to get your point across. And for your ******* information, I have gone to the site and I am in the process of learning about what I am asking THRU h-t and thru other sources of information. So you can take your comments and go shove them up your ***.

ok ok ok, cut it out ladies. arch is right, you need to search for info, but i offer whatever i know because i feel like it, not because of any "merit" anyway, on with the info..

a flutted lense is a non-clear one, 92-95 civics have a flutted lense, its basicly a bunch of "ripples" in the lense to disperse the light more evenly or to aim it. your car has a clear one, (unobstructed view of the bulb) and to make a shroud, it can be as simple as finding something like a stove burner's crum catcher with the same hole size as your projector and cut it to fit inside your headlight or it can even be made of cut sheetmetal, you really have to be creative either way. when i have to deal with a problem like that, make sure to follow my thread and i'll surely have tried diffrent methods.
