i want to put my new shift light in my ac vent for the final of my wiring class but i have 2 questions.

a) how do you take the cover off the vent.

b) how do you run the wires into the vent.

any suggetions are welcome

What car is this in and which vent would help a lot.

 

i've seen this done before in a EF. except for it was a boost gauge and i believe oil gauge. not sure. but its a smart idea. but bump cause im also clueless about this.

 

i would go top vent since you looking at the road, that way its in view

 

if for an ek coupe, ex to be exact. the left vent by the stearing wheel it where i want to put it.
