Default crx and GC spring rates!


Im trying to figure what to buy.

im starting to lean on getting koni race shocks and GC with custom rates


BUT WHAT RATE SPRINGS SHOULD I GET?


which would make for a better road racing car..? GC with Reg konis or PIC coil overs?

i been to two audi club student track days and two full seasons of auto -x in my area. but not on the crx. i had a 03 gti which i just sold.


and am trying to decide between PIc performanc coilovers or GC and koni;s ..

anyways. i think thats good experience for a 20 y/o ...not great but. im not trying to be a nation champ or anything.

I am in the same boat with my crx and after talking to somebody on here that races one they advised me to go with the koni race shocks and the gc with spring rates of 450 in the front and 600 in the rear.

okay..
anyways im not going with koni yellow cause they can only hold upto 500lbs on max firm setting. and i dont want to shell out 1,300 for gc with koni race/

YES best set up between gc / koni yellow and pic performance select coil overs.

pic performance has more shock travel and higher spring rate. then koni yellow

I'd still go w/ the Konis. Just go with a slightly softer spring rate for now, and then get the Konis revalved later on. 600 is gonna be pretty rough on the street, anyways. 400/450 is common, even among very fast drivers.
