Springs advice needed (Prelude)
I am having Ground Controls(380f/250r), KYB AGX, Progr. rear sway bar for about a couple of years already at my 5th gen. Prelude.
Couple of words about this setup - AGX is barely able to handle those spring rates. It is almost sufficient for streets, but then when you want to make it stiffer at an autox event - it is not enough. The swaybar initially provided tremendous oversteer, but then it kind of faded away... I think this might be due to stock endlinks. They are not bent though.
My the car gets more daily driver than autox and I think I have to downgrade to make my ride more comfortable but still being able to expose to autox occasionally.
I already have a set of KONIs in my garage. I feel like GC are getting too stiff for me and I do not need height adjustment as I adjusted my height many times (thanks to GC adjustability) and about an inch is what I settled on eventually.
I will keep the swaybar, but will buy or make my own custom endlinks.
So, the question is - springs. Should I just use stock ones that I still have or buy some aftermarket ones with progresive rates, so it is comfortable as DD but doesn't allow serious weight transfer and nosedive at autox? Any advice would be appreciated.
