Resistor Box and OBD2 Question
My friend is installing a resistor box on his OBD2 Civic. Here is how we installed it. We found the correct injector power wires at the dead end plug under the intake manifold. We cut the wires from the dead end plug and soldered all 4 of the injector power wires to the one red wire on the resistor box. We then soldered the 4 black wires coming from the resistor box into each individual injector power wire close to the injector clips. We tried to start the car and it seems that the injectors arent firing at all, if not very faintly.
Our questions are:
Did we install the box right?
What are the affects of cutting the wire at the plug rather than splicing it?
Any help is appreciate. Thanks!
EDIT: Problem may be solved... Just realized that it is wired wrong and the current way it is wired, the injectors have no way of getting power. So I will re-wire it correctly and see if it works out.
