im getting a knock sensor code from my pr3 ecu...the motor is a d15b vtec
i have everything hooked up right...i dubble checked...the car runs great...can someone help me out on this one...
i have heard its in the distributer...on the back on the block(but thats b series...)
another option is getting the ecu chiped to not look for the knock sensor...what do you think i should do?

 

did you install a knock sensor in the D15 block because they don't come with one from the factory, thats probably why its throwing the code

 

no... but i had this motor in my 4door and never had that code... it was in there for over a year... i did notice the missing sensor(the one with 2 prongs)... but i thought it was for the fan's... it has a jumper wire on it so the fans run all the time...the other one is the oil pressure or something... its a singel wire conector...
