ST swaybar adapter kit (876-55320 @ jegs)?
Does anyone have any pics of an install of the EF ST rear swaybar adapter kit. I would like to put one on my hb but I don't know how it connects to the chassis or if it allows a DA integra rear sway?
I was under the impressoin that the adpater kit allowed you to mount a rear sway on a non-rear sway equipped EF with DA lca (or civic si lcas?) let me know if that's wrong. How did you mount your rear sway S2R Honda?
the ST rear bar doesn't mount to the stock locations so you don't need a car that had the mounts stock. It comes with L brackets that mount to the shock.
I didn't know they made an adaptor kit for the 88 LCA's though... my friend is going to be very happy.

Mine looks like the pic above. The adapter is a u-shaped bracket that wraps around the control arm. The L-shaped bracket that holds the bar to the chassis bolts where there were tow hooks on the subframe.

My 90 STD HB came w/o a front and rear swaybar (and no threaded LCA holes), so I want to order the ST EF swaybar kit with 22mm fr and rr. Do those L-brackets come with the kit (876-52155 @ jegs) and then the rear connects to the shock and not the rear LCAs?
Is there a pic available of the end mounting points (ie at the shocks/LCAs)?

The ST doesn't use the threaded LCA holes (as mentioned above). You can buy the standard bar WITHOUT any adapter kit and it will mount up fine. ST made it this way so that it can be mounted on ANY Civic/CRX.

Do your research about the sway bars before you buy the front and rear because I have read that alot of people buy the front and rear and then end up using just the rear with a hf front sway or no swaybar at all. But then again I just realized I have been looking for a sedan and not a hatch so it is probably different

It depends on what you do. For auto-x, the no front sway bar/stiff rear is a very nice setup. I've heard it's unstable at higher speeds though so for a real road course or daily driving i wouldn't do it.
