91 honda 1.6 gas milage problum

i dont no y my gas milage blows i get less then 30 miles a gallon if i drive easy an stay below 3 grand i have 3000 miles on the rebiult motor but i dont see could it be the timeing or idk wat. anyone havve any ideas?

Single cam? I get right at 27-28 with my 1.6, but its a b16.

Is you timing advanced? THat could be the issue. Can you smell gas at high RPM?
