Default 5 gallon sheet metal fuel cell mounting?

I dont know if im posting in the correct area but, Where is the best location to mount a 5 gallong fuel cell? In the spare tire area? Any info and pictures will help thank you -- Alex

nice! Would it be better to run under the car how u have it? or would it be ok to have it inside the car?

well, you can run it inside the car, but you would need a cover over it, similar to the sheetmetal covering mine. just make a firewall covering the cell up so that it is enclosed.

if you run it under the car in a set up like yours you will need to protect it from the street and all it crap. the idea of mounting inside the car it will need a metal "wall" to protect the driver from fuel in case of any crash. imo the "street car" set up will do you better depends what you are looking to gain. Plus removing the tank will make a big air hole under the car that may or may not hurt you

weight reduction = the tanks are not that heavy u can save that much doing the dash
peformance = make a sump and run full braided lines from to back
