I think I'm going to do moroso on either Oct 8th or 9th with PCA. ~3 hours of track time for $175. LMK if you wanna join in before you sell the caR.

Welcome to the extemely addicting money pit of a world of HPDEing.

Which for many if you're not careful turns into actual club wheel to wheel racing.

Have fun and be careful and mindful of the slippery slope. The first step is a doozy as you already know, the rest is just an extremely fast & expensive downhill tumble

Yea to make sure they were pumped up ehough and not rolling over. I ran about 33psi cold 38ish hot. not that im any super racer or anything but it was intresting geting a lil feedback from the tires after a run, I think I could use a little - camber becuse the marks were scrubbed down about a 1/4 inch down the sidewall and I dont I would want more pressure.

Can you explain how the marks are used? Quite interesting concept.

You mark part of the sidewall and a bit (inch or 2) on the tread, then when you come back from your run you can see how much of the tire is being used. If the mark is worn away a decent ammount on the sidewall you dont have enough pressure and vise versa. My friend's dad spun his GT3 because his pressure was too low and around a corner the tires rolled too much onto the sidewall and he lost his contact patch.

I do believe you can tell other things by how the marks vary tire to tire (considering the pressure is the same) About how the balance of car might be off ie: the front left tire rolled over more than the others so I might have been late on the gas in right hand turns, but there could be a few other possibilities.
