I need help on figuring out what may be wrong with my speedometer on my 92honda civic lx............it does not move until i get up to around 40-45 then it goes backwards to until it gets to 100 and sometimes i may punch or pound on dash it may bounce and then turn on but does not stay on for long i need to see if i cna fix it repsond plzzz

 

i have the same year car as you and same model, it is probably ur speed sensor which ran me 85 bucks 2 replace but im cheap nd would rather deal wit the stupid speedometer, any way good luck
