Alright guys I was wondering if anyone bought Ebay 96-98 civic Type-R Lips.

How does it look? does it look anything like the real deal? or does it look totally off??

Dont waste your money on type r lips just go jdmshit.com and get the CTR copy instead they look way better than the TYPE R copies. almost the same price too.

eBay lip pic, fits almost perfect but would never pass for the real thing. If you look at the 2 pix above the real lip sits kind of on and below the bottom of the bumper, the eBay ones sort of go over the bottom of the bumper.

 

well to me they both look the same nothing to BIG and

how much can you get it "hooked" up for...? they only cost about $45 bucks

and it will come in ABS plastic or fiber glass, hit something and they'll crack...!!!

 

i beleive theyre all made by absdynamic anyways, i got mine from streestyler but the ebay vendor, wasnt 100% perfect fit but it looks fine, had to use a lil force and stretch it a bit on the edges. btw mine was 99-00

 

I bought a cf lip off ebay a few years back. fitment was decent but there was a lil gap between the lip and bumper near the wheelwell. If I were to do it again I would buy from an actually store and not off-brand

 

don't do it you will end up giving it away. well at least that is what i did

This is exact same as the Type R ABS plastic lip from jdmshit.com.... it is really low quality in that matter. (I just put one on the other day and was not impressed about it having to sit on the buttom part of the bumper in the same matter.

 

i got mine from ebay on my DA it looks nice and cant really tell the diff between the ebay stuff and the one my freind got from speed unlimited...

The only problem I have with spending more than $100.00 for a lip is that because they are so low to the ground they scrap, pick up rock chips and....

in some cases get ripped off on the highway because your bitch of a girlfriend takes your car to work one day and runs over road debre ripping it off and having a semi truck mutilate it into tiny pieces right behind you. RIP CF SPOON LIP!! Hello ABS. Ha.

I got my Mugen V2 lip from JDMSh!t.com, fitment wasn't the best but I got it to work just fine. Looks good too.
