Well when I got my swap from hmotors they unplugged the tps. (for shipping purposes i belive) Anyway after completing the swap I put it back on. After turning the car on I realized that my idle was a little weird, I turned the tps a little and it fixed the problem. I dont know the correct way to adjust the tps. Now when my car is cold it has a harder time starting but when warm it starts right up. Would the tps be the cause of this? And if it is, how do I properly adjust it?

 

I was wonderig about this too... but its a little different.. can TPS fix the idle surgin?

 

.45-.50 volts at idle should be 4.5 or greater at wot

adjusted with the key on and engine not running.

 

The FITV has a lot to do with your idle. Check it, clean it, and move on with a nice Idling ride.
