my ***** doing something similar i got 158 miles to 3/4 of a tank... i always forget to reset at full...
its got NO power especially after 2nd
idk wat to do...
it sounds horrible.. if its major im gonna wait it out till i can get mounts and a clutch for my b16 but if theres some simple stuff i can do id like to...

 

work on fixing it before getting any accessory bullshit like mounts or a clutch.

 

no im doing a swap... it has d15 in it right now...

 

Does it have a misfire? And CEL's? I can't help you if you just tell me it has poor fuel economy and it runs like **** above 2k. There are a lot of things it could be.

 

it misfires... im in the process of disassembling the head for a new gasket but i was curious about the egr if somethings wrong with that

 

it also will randomly throw a code then stop if that helps at all

 

check the codes, even if the light goes off, as long as you dont reset the ecu it has them stored.

then look at the FAQ at the top of the page that says "ecu codes"

 

i just re did the head gasket... i knew that was part of the problem now i have idle surge real bad.

 

check you IACV on the back of your intake manifold

 

iacv? is that the valve that contols the air coming in at idle? like an idle screw?
