...do u knoe that sound when a smaLL puLLy is spinning fast? (ex. when u sLow down whiLe in 1st gear in a area with speed bumps) weLL im hearing that sound when i push my car, i take it up to 4 never used 5 & 6 gears, at Least in the city...i have an 06 RSX-s compLeteLy stock, anyone eLse experience that? can u teLL me wats causing this?

i knoe Magaton00si started a thread Like this, but mines isnt that much of a humming sound, and i never use cruise controL

 

we might be hearing the same noise

i hear it whenever i pull into my garage in 1st gear and i have no idea what is it...i usually hear when im just trying to inch my way into the garage, basically to a point of ALMOST stalling(would that have anything to do with it?)

i dont know what it is but i would also like to know what that noise is...

 

even if ur not near staLing, drive it in 1st gear, press in ur cLuth and reLease the gas pedaL and sLow down, youLL hear it! thats what i hear when im driving

 

That noise you are hearing is the synchronizers whining inside the transmission. Perfectly normal, nothing to worry about.

Sounds the same when you go in reverse, and you get that whine sound right?

 

right, b.c i didnt reaLLy hear it from the engine so i guess that make sence, some more input itLL be nice, thnx for urs though it makes a Lotta sence
