Red Clear Tails for EF?
I am thinking i want some red clear tails for the hoopty. I think i have seen this done before and am wondering if anybody else has pics. Also anyone have any good leads on where to purchase some completly clear tails so i could make my own?????
They are not any on the market that I have seen. I have seen members take a set of clear tail lights or Algayzas and use a transparent red and then use a few coats of clear over that.
i remember this from long time ago. hopefully it helps!

Those are the cleanest aftermarket lights for a rex ive seen, id sport them, they remind me of the all red tails on a gsr
But I like modding my cars thats what makes a car MY car, I hate when people ask about stuff and give the .02 when it wasnt asked for, just like I did

What about painting transparent red over the amber on stock tails? People do this to MX-6s with some sort of testors red spray paint (candy apple I believe) and it comes out looking all red, I'd like to try this with my USDM tails but I've been wondering if anyone else has done it (for paint color suggestions). I'd also like to try and find some sort of orange that matches the stock color to paint the clear half and make all amber stock corners.

I used to own a 93 MX6 and did this. Testors Candy Apple works great and looks good, just make sure you are patient when painting the tails. Clean them first w/ alcohol (possibly even wet sand them if yours are gunky), then apply 2-3 even coats. I sprayed from about 1 1/2 feet away but sprayed about 4 coats, just to make sure it would be even and not drippy. Wait till paint dries between coats, then apply 2-3 coats of clear-coat.

I bought a different set of tails off of him. Good seller. I think this may be what you're looking for.
