Default 205 45 16's or 205 40 16's...with y1 tranny?

I ask this because I plan to drive on the freeway as well as in town. The 205 40's seem smaller in diamter than stock and 45's are a lil taller. Does anybody think Ill loose a lot of aceeleration(1/4) speed with taller 45's? Id assume for bumpy roads, corner carving and freeway speeds I might have a slight advantage to teh slightly taller sidewall of 45's. What are you guys using for tire sizes on 16's?

My car also isnt lowered much(H&R sports) so would 40's make the wheel well gap look like its on stock suspension with the H&R sports?
