Please help me with the ohms on this JLw6v2
This is a jl audio w6 dvc. I'm not familiar with how dvc's work, but I need it to be 4 ohms. Can you please tell me if this is correct. It is a dual 4 ohm sub.

sorry but it never will be. Its e\ith going to be 8 ohm (both coils in series) or 2 ohm
(both coils wired paralell like it is now). Time to find a Mono block amp to drive it or wire it at 8 ohm and get about 60% output from it.
WARNING:
Under no circumstances are you to use each 4 ohm coil by it self!!! That is the quickest way to destroy that $500 sub!!!!

If you really want 4 ohms and you're about to run just one coil and burn up the sub, spend the $500 (that you would spend on a replacement) and buy another sub. Then you can wire the two for 4 ohms.
