Theres is no way you can change the moldings I think the whole bodies between 88-89 and 90-91 are different slightly i know that you have to get new back and front bumpers

88-89 - wide but flat
90-91 - thin but stick out more

88-89 bumper has no fog holes, 90-91 does

88-89 lip wont fit on 90-91 bumper, vice versa.

the middle radiator cooling grill is smaller on the 90-91 bumper from what i see.

i believe the bumper signal lights are different as well, but im not quite sure, ill check tomorrow.

you can convert an 88-89 zenki into a 90-91 kouki, but you'll need both front & rear bumper, as well as all side moldings. the doors and fenders are basically the same.

The fenders, doors and rear are made to fit the wider trim on the 88-89, trust me I already tried to convert the moldings

Even if they are different you can grind the mesh down and fit an innercooler. We did that with a friends car because he wasnted his mesh. It looks great but fits.

the part about the fogs lights is wrong. They both don't have holes for the fogs but....they both have the cut out diagram on the inside of the bumper. just my 2 cents
