cant get transmission upper casse on **NEED HELP QUICK**
I putting my b series tranny back together and cant get the snap ring back in the groove what do i do????

ya its as if the shaft isn't long enough cuz the main shaft is all the way in\

It' has been a while since I did this. Are the cases seated together yet? I recall having issues with the shift rods finding their holes. Also, is part 11 on the main shaft oriented properly?
ya also had problems with shift rods, (and part eleven) but got everything in its place and yes the case is seated
Have you tried inverting the transmission to move the counter shaft towards the snap ring? I do recall this issue with my transmission.
Be sure to test spin the transmision in all gears before installing it.

it work the first time. I turned the tranny over and then heard a click, incredibly when i turned the tranny back the snap ring was in the groove where i was trying to get into.
