The height of laziness...there's a thread about 5 lines down from this on the same thing.....you don't even have to hit the search key

OK my bad, i didn't look today i just came in and posted, it was a week or so ago that i was searching for it.

appologies for that, however that dosn't solve my problem...i am trying to figure out where i can buy one and that's not the kit that i'm looking for. the one i'm looking for was just radio trim not the whole dash. and it splits the radio area into two slots, one for the deck and an extra one for storage.

anyone have some info on these?

I think you misunderstood him...

Search on ebay or google for a 06 Civic Metra dash kit.... Metra makes good stuff. They have one for our cars, someone posted the pic/link a while back.

Partially, after reading it again I saw aftermarket but the only one I've seen is the fake aluminum for non-navi or you can buy the navi piece to install a double DIN stereo

It's not on the market yet but if you wait a little bit you can get a factory fit and finish adapter from them. Patience is a virtue.

perfect that's what i needed. i was actually into my local stereo shop today and they said they just did one last week and ordered a kit for it and he's gonna order me one as well, i decided to just get the shop to do all the install since i know nothing about this stuff LOL...

only crappy thing is that the only kit they can get is black and i have the royal blue w/ tan interior lx, and the kit only comes in black and the piece that goes around my steering wheel now is like a grayish brown so i think it may look funny but worse comes to worse i guess i could replace the piece around the wheel w/ a black one as well...

i will post pics once the install is completed.

thanks for all the help
