Default Good deal or not?

Friend of mines son has a clean 91 civic hatchback with a new paintjob and a motor that the timing is off. Problem is, the rear window and two side ones are broken out. Shes trying to sell it for $300. Good deal or not? Pros and Cons?

I'd go for it too, the windows can be had for cheap if you look around. But I'd be leary of the motor though, you might want to chuck it anyways. But a clean chassis for $300 is worth it IMO nonetheless.

i'd buy it if i was in the area. you can always get a replacement motor for dirt cheap. even online a jdm d series long block is like 500 bucks (thats only 20K miles on it..not even broke in for a honda). as for the windows.. if you put full coverage ins on it, with glass deduct, then its only 100 bucks to replace the windows just tell em it got smashed after you have it ins. or go the junkyard route and hope you dont bust the windows trying to get it out the junker
