Default Suggestion to my setup?

ok guy I know you hate threads like these, but I dont know crap about engine tuning and I am planning to have my B18C1 rebuild within a year or so. This will be my daily drive engine, so its has to be smoggable in CA. Emphasis will be on engine response and full balance.

here's my setup
B18C1 stock head, cams and block
New USDM ITR pistons
Stock cranks and arm blueprinted
Lightened flywheel
Hondata ecu, with quick flash program for smog days
some sort of upgraded fuel supply (injectors, regulator...whatever that is needed)

Based on the vague description, do you guys think this is pretty well-balanced for my purpose? Horsepower is not the main concern, but can i expect about 190whp with proper tuning?

Thanks for bearing with me

You have a stock motor with a bump in compression. No, I don't see anywhere near 190.

What would be your estimate numbers?

Both JDM ITR and CTR pistons are considered. Do you recommend one over another?

just run the usdm itr pistons. honda balances the engine really good as it is, no real gains to be had there. some quality bolt ons like intake and header with some tuning should make a simple, reliable engine with good response.

u dont need any kinda of fuel upgrades other than say an adjustable FPR. Bigger injectors on a stock motor is just wasting gas. Get yourself a nice bolt on setup and get it tuned. ITR's are, arguably, one of the best responding motors out there. You give it something it wants, and you will be happy with the results.

maybe consider a single stage intake manifold such as skunk 2 pro, and some aftermarket camshafts or at least itr/ctr if you can find some for a reasonable price.
